Its country is crossed by the Tellaro rivers and Asinaro stream. They arise from mount Lauro and from Fontana Grande in the Carosello valley. The variety of the country allows the visitor to enjoy a mild climate, a wide coast of fine and gold sand and a crystalline sea, which is considered the cleanest in Italy, from Calabernardo to Marzamemi. It also are landscape reliefs like Alveria, the Finocchiato and Castelluccio.
